Flamestar walked out to the forest at dawn. Stream paw was going to train with him. He figured they would patrol the borders, and hunt. He saw a mouse and pounced on it. He held it in his paws for streampaw.
Dawnfire walked out to the forest. She streched and said, "Hey Flamestar." She saw a mouse and caught it with a swipe. She sat down beside Flamestar. They looked so alike that cats could hardly tell them apart.

Streampaw padded up. "Good catch!"she meowed. "So what will we do today?" She scented a mouse and went into a hunter's crouch. She stepped lightly so not to warn the mouse she was approaching. She pounced and sat back up with the mouse between her teeth. She looked at her mentor for approval. "Hi Dawnfire!!!" she meowed through a bunch of mouse hair.

"Thank you, Streampaw." Flamestar mewed, "Well, we will patrol the boarders, hunt and renew scents." Flamestar's ears twitched. He heard the mouse and saw Streampaw crouch. When she caught it, he memwed, "Good Job! Lets bury these and come back." Flamestar dug a hole. He dropped his mouse in it.
Dawnfire nodded to the cat. She watched Streampaw catch the mouse. Dawnfire put her mouse in the hole and asked Streampaw, "Do you know where Stormpaw is? We are going with you this time around. Your mentor and I did tis together so We want to show it together."

Yeah she's back at camp, I think"Streampaw meowed. She was hoping Stormpaw would come. She looked at Flamestar,"Why were all the clans fighting at the gathering?"

"Good." Dawnfire meowed to Streampaw, "She should be comeing Then." Dawnfire looked at Flamestar. The fight was nothing to worry about...or so she thought.
Flamestar looked at Streampaw," Well, Lavaclan and the other clans are all enemiys. Lavaclan has always liked to fight, and the clan is made of roges and Kittypets. The otherclans don't like kitypets, and much less roges. They want to drive out Lavaclan. Little do they know about what we are planning." Flamestar smelled Stormpaw from the gamp, and looked at the ground. The clan knew Stormpaw liked Flamestar, that was why he let Dawnfire mentor her.

"Oh, okay. Stormpaw is coming." Streampaw meowed. Just as she said that Stormpaw burst into their little chat. "Hi Stormpaw, Flamestar!"she gasped. "Sorry I'm late." She looked at them, "Am I inturupting something?" Streampaw shook her head.

Flamestar purred and mewed," No problem Stormpaw. You arn't inturupting anything." He looked at the young cat.
Dawnfire purred at her apprintace, "It's ok."

Stormpaw padded up to Streampaw. "Come on. I bet I can Catch more than you."she challenged."Of course, after we patrol." Streampaw nodded and lookes at Flamestar,"We're ready."

Dawnfire purred in amusment, "He is Flamestar." She flicked her tail to her brother, "But lets go." Dawnfire took off at a jog to patrol the riverclan boarders.
Flamestar purred and joged after Dawnfire. He stoped and renewed the scent mark. He then turned to the apprintances, "What do you smeel?" lamestar smelled vole, mouse, and riverclan.

"Well I smell Riverclan!!"Streampaw announced. She looked at Flamestar proudly. She didn't think there was anything else becasue she was to close to riverclan.
"I smell Riverclan, a vole and a mouse."Stormpaw meowed. She looked at Dawnfire for approval.

Firestar looked down to Streampaw, "Do you smell anything else? I do..." He meowed to her. He sat down and looked at the young she cat, she would make a fine warrior...but her scenting skills lacked.
Dawnfire mewed, "I don't smell anything else other than what you said." She flicked her tail and it touched Stormpaw's shoulder in aproval of her scenting.

Streampaw looked hurt and embarresed, "Sorry."she murmured. she felt really embarressed that she hadn't smelled everything
Stormpaw looked at her mentor in pride,"Thank you."she meowed and looked at Flamestar. She then saw Streampaw. She padded over to her. "Good guess."she told Streampaw.

"It's ok Streampaw, Just try to think past where you are." Flamestar mewed to his apprintice. His tail touched her shoulder lightly. He looked to Streampaw, "Get the scent of one, and hnt it."
Dawnfire nodded to the young she cat. She then said to her, "Go catch one of them."

Streampaw nodded and shook herself. "Come on, Stormpaw!"she meowed and took the lead.
Stormpaw shook her head and looked at Flamestar,"She gets over things really quick." She raced after Streampaw, who was looking at the river and she was glaring at the Riverclan cats. "Come on,Streampaw."Stormpaw meowed,"They are not worth a fight." Streampaw nodded and together they padded down the steam.

Flamestar and Dawnfire nodded to the cats. He looked across the border. Yes, they were near Riverclan. They riverclan cats were on patrol, and they could do nothing.
