Lavenderpaw was the first one out of the camp. she did not even think to wait for her brother and her mentor. she stopped and waited for them to catch up. first came Smokestar, then Emeraldflame, and the her smokey black brother, Somkepaw. it was srange, how they were all a shade of black, and she was grey, and almost purple.

"I wanna know how to catch vole!! i've never tried vole before!" Just then, she saw a rabbit, hopping about a little away, and started to run at it. She only got to claw it, though, her small claws leaving a few deep wonds, but not enough too kill.

Lavenderpaw looked at her mentor, and let out a little 'mrooow' of laughter. she saw her brother drop into a bad hunting crouch, and start to stalk a mouse. it started to run, but Smokepaw was faster. he lept on it, and killed it. "How was that, emeraldflame?" he asked.

"Well, atleast he caught something. why don't you show us something better, Emeraldflame." she piped up. she looked punny at qith her fur puffed up next to the bigger, stronger warriors.

Lavenderpaw looked up, and she saw a magpipe, and asked in a hushed voice, "How do you catch birds, Smokestar?" Smokepaw looked at his mentor, and asked, "How do you catch birds?"

Emeraldflame didn't bother to reply and simply crouched down.Using her tail to make swishing noises like the wind,she approached catiously,not making a sound,except for the rythmatic swish! of her tail. When she got close enough,she pounced on the magpie,dispatching it with a swift blow to it's neck with her claws.Scrapping dirt over it,she meowed,"that,is the way you catch a bird."She smiled briefly at the apprentices.

Lavnederpaw hissed playfully at Greenfire. then the two went off in search of prey.

OOC: Although Greenfire and Emeraldflame are sisters,they do not have the same name!
Emeraldflame watched the two apprentice scampering off,without any hint of emotion on her face.Turning to Smokestar,she meowed,"I'll go after Smokepaw,see how he's doing and catch some prey on the way."
