Boredom is a terrible thing.Emeraldflame thought idly.She had nothing to do.The apprentices haven't been assigned any mentors yet.She yawned,lazily stretching,her wavy black fur shining under the hot afternoon sun.But at least there aren't any attacks from the other Clans.She thought.I suppose that is good.But still,maybe an attack right now wouldn't be so bad.She mused.At least it should be better than this confounded boredom!She stretched again and stood up,her emerald eyes gleaming.She walked over to Smokestar's den.She needed an apprentice,badly,she decided.I think I want Smokepaw.She thought.I don't mind half-clan cats and that Lavenderpaw brags too much for his own good!That decided she called out,"Smokestar!Can we talk about something?It's really important!"

Smokepaw walked over to Emeraldflame. "hello." he said to the she-cat. the young tom wanted to know what she was going to talk to Smokestar for. "What are you going to say to Smokestar?" the apperentice asked. he wanted to know.
