Raggedfur sparng at the badger,raking her claws against its shoulder.The badger roared with pain and shook himself violently,trying to get Raggedfur off."Get Smokestar!"Raggedfur yowled,hanging on tightly.

Talonkit raced away back to camp to get a warrior. "Hang on Dovekit!"Emberkit yowled. He raced over to stand by Tanglekit. "We have to get the badger distracted."He meowed. "I might have an idea." He took a step forward and looked at the badger. "Hey you stupid badger! Over here!" he called hoping the badger would come his way so he could lead it away.

"Emberkit, no! it will go for the camp!" Dovekit yelled. she spepped out of her hole, and sereeched
"Hay, mousedung! overhere!" then to the other cats, "I will lead it away, and then back here! i can out run it! Be ready!" Not awating an awncer, she hurtled herself into the forest, with the badger fallowing much slower.

As the badger began to lumber towards Emberkit, Tanglekit mewed as loud as he could, "No over here you pile of fox dung!" The badger spun around and lumbered toward him.

As the badger got closer Emberkit yowled"Over Here!'the badger turned and lumbered toward him. He stood his ground until the badger was on top of him.That''s when he dodged it's paw and backed up a little

"This isn't supposed to happen!"Emberkit cried. When the badger was a fox length away he shot to the side and watched as the badger tripped over his own paws to turn fast enough.

With a loud yowl,Raggedfur launched herself at the badger again."Get away from the kits,you great peice of fox-dung!"She screeched,raking her claws across the badger's eyes,blinding it.Emeraldflame rushed out from the camp and attacked the badger's leg viciously,clawing for all she was worth.

Tanglekit didn't know why, but he felt the need to sink his teeth into the badger, but he held himself back and let the warriors take care of it. THen he padded over to Dovekit and Emberkit. He remembered the thrill of danger and purred to himself.

Raggedfur and Emeraldflame swiped one last time at the badger.The now-blinded badger let out a roar of agony and stumbled away,as the she-cats looked on proudly,as Raggedfur licked away some blood on her pelt.

Dovekit, still upset, she wandered over into the shadows, her white pelt plainly visable, she wished she was not visable at all...

"Dovekit?"Talonkit asked,"Are you all right? I'm sorry I wasn't there to help. I wish I was more like you. You are so brave." Talonkit went over and sat by Dovekit. She began to groom Dovekit's pelt. Emberkit came over and joined her.
