Ok basically schools in England do their SATS exams in year 9 (grade 9 to you I think) and we pick our GCSE's these are big examinations that determin what we do with our lives and choose what A levels you do (Universities look at these to determine whether you should get a place). You choose your GCSE's in our year then spend yYear 10 preparing, at the start of Year 11 you do your mocks which give you an idea of what the exam will be like and what you need to learn. Then later you do the real exams (which is a national thing). You get your results in the summer and from there you choose your A levels which you repeat the process but you choose less subjects (about four or five), you pick from 9-11 GCSE's depending on your school (I'm doing 11) and all the schools in the country are ranked based on the results (My school is 11th I think)

Stupid Canada. I wish I lived there! The best I can do is an 11 cooking and academic english!!
What we do is eight classes, four electiaves fr every year. The depending on which type of school you go to you do either exams once or twice, I do them twice a year. We only have like, three private schools around!! I so wish I was in one...*sobs*
