^{Snowkit saw Dockit pad over to her, "What?" she mewed. She shook her head, had she lost her hearing again? She came thrashing her head around until she heard a bird tweet. "Dockit! I lsot my hearing again!"she gasped. She hadn't lost any of her senses for at least a moon, and most cats thought the 'curse' had passed. It now became clear that it probaly never would.}

Dockit licked her ear comfortingly "Shhh it's OK" he mewed softly, his brown pelt pressed against hers and his amber eyes shining with concern for his friend. He gave a small sigh, "better?" he asked softly and flicked his tail to tell Maplekit she could come coser if she wanted and for the others to relax.

"Your diseased. I'm leaving." She spat at her feet, and turned to leave the gathering o f kits. "I want to see you again..." She breathed to Dockit as she passed, her eyes softening for a split second and hardening again, quickly.

<sup>Snowkit purred, enjoying Dockkits comfort. The kit was like an older sibling to her, always caring for her and helping her when she lost her two major senses. She was just relaxing when Maplekit decided to make a comment.

Snowkit growled and went to dive forward until she heard Maplekits words. She stood up and glared at Dockit. Although he had comforted her, she did not now the cat who stood in front of her. She took one last look at him before stalking up the hill.</sup>

"Maplekit, thats not nessacary" Dockit mewed crossly, then more quietly in her ear "I would to" his eyes softening and he brushed his tail againt her cheek, she really was very beautiful. He turned back to the others and his expression returned to normal "We should get back before we're missed" he mewed

<sup>Snowkit growled as she reached the top of the hill, How could he!. It wasn't like she cared about their relationship, she was only Dockits friend. But he should have sent the cat back to her camp, not allow her to stay.

Yes, she really didn't care about the relationship. She just wanted to be his friend...</sup>

Dockit gave Maplekit's cheek a quick lick, "You know the way back to your territory, be careful, I'll see you soon" then he bounded over to the two other kits and gave a small sigh, "Sorry" he mewed "I couldn't have left her, she could've died" he slowed his pace to Snowkit's, his dark pelt blowing gently and he cast one last look back at Maplekit, showing in his amber eyes he must go.

^{Snowkit looked at Dockit. "You realise your breaking the warrior code!" she mewed. The kits were all acting like warriors right now, and they hadn't even been made appretnices yet. This started Snowkit going into one of her dreams. Of her running through the forest, to attend a gathering. Her, as a warrior. With Dockit by her side.}

"We're friends!" he mewed crossly, thrashing his little tail left and right "What did you want me to do, leave her in the gorge to die?" his amber eyes blazed a little but he soon calmed down "Sorry" he mewed, "But I didn't have a choice Snowkit"

Maplekit cast a glance back at the tom, her green eyes glowing in the golden light of the sunhigh sun, before she bounded over the hill, her tail tip dissapeering over the tall grasses.

Peachkit smiled. She looked at the dissapeering dot of Maplekit. "You like her, don't you?" She knew by the look on Maplekit's face that that kit was troubble, but Donkit didn't seem to mind. In face, he seemed to like that aspect of her. She shot Dockit a sly smile before turning to follow Snowkit up the hill, Dockit at her side.

<sup>Snowkit sighed. "Fine..whatever" she mewed as she entered the camp. She looked around, pondering on her next move.

She sat on the stump, watching as a leaf danced about in front of her. Her short tail wagging as she prepared to jumped for it.</sup>

Dockit gave a little smile and purred at Peachkit, cuffing her gently with his paw "Ah, that is for my mind to tell me Peachkit" he mewed, joining Snowkit and leaping at a stray feather and catching in his soft paws with a safisfied mew as he landed; his brown pelt was fluffed up and his eyes shone.

Bic|| ^{Snowkit dived forward. Grabbing the leaf with both paws and battingit to the ground. Purring with pride, she looked at Dockit, usually she would go over and congratulate him with a lick. Now? It felt wrong.}
