Wolfpaw silently sat in the Apprentice's Den. He looked at his paws as he sat there. As quiet as the night though as sad a a mother to a dead kit. I'm always so lonely... Will I ever have a friend or am I destined to a life of silence? the apprentice asked himself over and over. Wolfpaw curled his tail tightly around his paws and tried to find comfort in his own mind. All he found was the same loneliness he knew all to well. Sighing heavily, the tom sat there. Being ignored by every cat. Staying silent so no cat could hear him. And not moving, so he could mourn his own loneliness and sorrow.
