Chocolate fur brushed against the grass as he approached the Cricket. A moth flew past his face, making his whiskers twitch and tickle him, a short yelp of pleasure jumped from his jaw and before he realised what he had done, the crickt jumped away quicker than you could say mouse. He sighed and pulled his plump body onto the brown fence that bordered his nest. He looked out across the forest and sighed, Please, just let me go out there mother, he stared up at the sky, barely a fur on his pelt moving. After a few minutes, he let his head fall down to its normal position. Fine, I won't. but I'm sick of waiting... He shook his ehad as he remembered his mothers stories. "They will come for you soon, Mudpelt."
He shook his head again, who was he kidding? He was Charlie, a stupid kittypet that struggled to jump onto his fence, for he was so fat. He wasn't Mudpelt, remembering the name his mother had given him, the brave warrior. He was already to old. He sighed and turned away from the forest, facing the nest he was tied to.
