Dawnstar padded over to the waterrock. "All cats old enough to catch their prey gather here at the Waterrock for a cam meeting!" She yowled. "Today, i must name the new Clan deputy. I say these words before the body of Lillyfur, may she hear and approve." Dawnstar's voive was strong, but her eyes, sad. "The new deputy will be Stormheart. I know you will serve us well." She gazed down at the tom, eyes now tender. "I also have another duty here today; the naming of warriors. Streampaw, Mountainpaw, come here." She called, her gaze sweeping over the croud. "In the past gathering, These two apperentices fought with the courage of lions." She looked at her apperentice, with calm approving eyes. Mountainpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code even at the cost of your life?" she asked, knowing he would say 'yes'. He nodded. "Then i give you your warrior name: Mountainpaw, from this moment on, you will be know as Mountainheart, for your heart is as big as a mountain is tall." Her gaze moved to Streampaw. "Streampaw, You aswell fought well in battle. Do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code with your life?" This apperentice also nodded. "Then from this moment on, you shall be known as Streamcloud, for in Battle, you moved with the silence of a cloud and the grace of a stream." She lept down from the Waterrock. "Tonight you shall hold your vigil, and protect the Clan as warriors." Dawnstar Rested her muzzle on their heads, and walked away to her den.

Dawnstar saw the look in Nightkit's eyes. "We also have an apperentice to be named. Nightkit, come here." she said. Nightkit's eyes lit up. "From this moment on, you shall be known as Nightpaw. I shall be your mentor, seeing as Mountainheart is now a warrior." She looked at her new apperentice. she really did not want another apperentice, but she was thinking on the top of her head. She looked at him. 'he will do.' she thought, leaping down From Waterrock to touch noses with the kit. "We now start training, follow me." She said, walking to the river, for training.
