Lionheart went for a hunt. he loved his life. the position he had in the clan... but somthing was not right. He conjujred up memmories of a kit, his forgotten past. he sat, by a stream, and thought of the dog. the one whom tore apart his family as a kit. his Parents, sister, and brother. how he missed them. he picked up a sent, not one he knew.
a voice, one of the ones in the memmories called him...' don;t be afaraid, Lionheart.' it whispered, as if the wind talked to him itself. ' we call you now, don't worry' it was StarClan, but what did they meen? the sent became stronger. Lionheart's hackled rose, his fur on end, eyes glowing with hate. The Devils second chance to finish what it started, so many seasons ago...

The dog lumbered out of the bushes. There was something familiar out this cat....something that made his want to tear it appart. He let out a howl and darted for Lionheart...

Lionheart knew this was the dig that killed his family. he wanted to tear it's heart out, and tear it to peices. he lunged for the throat, but knew even he, the mighty thunderclan deputy, had no chance. he was throan to the ground. the dog went off, back to it's home. Using the last bit of life in him, he pulled himself back to camp.

Hawkstar noticed the ragged cat staggering to the ThunderClan camp first.Thinking that it was an intruder,she prepared herself to fight.But the stranger didn't seem to be in any condition to attack.Curious,she padded closer,before finally recognizing her deputy,Lionheart,under all the blood."No..."She whispered."Cindercloud!Get over here!Now!"She yowled.

"Lionheart! what did this to you?" She asked.

Having no time to reply, he chocked out "Wolf..."
"Don't bother... goodbye, ThunderClan..."
Lionheart choked out his last wordes with no pain, it was gone within seconds.

"No..."Hawkstar whispered,tears of pain clouding her eyes."No..."She murmered again."Lionheart!Wake up!"She yowled,using her nose to shove at her deputy like a kit prodding his mother for attention.

Cindercloud stared at the body, motionless with death. "It's ok, he's with StarClan now."
"I am a bad meddician cat. i havent given even a poppyseed to ease his journey to StarClan..."
she whispered. Brackenclaw Came, with Lightningpaw at his heels, and tawnyfeather gathered, too. the small croud looked on at the deputy that served them well...

Greenfire padded out slowly from the warrior's den,hearing the noise.She saw the still body of Lionheart,and lowered her head in respect.

Swiftnight had just returned from hunting.Seeing the crowd,she was curious,but sensed that it was a solemn thing for which they gathered.Carefully schooling her face into a blank expression,she approached.

((I want Lionehart to say who the new dep. is to be, you know, like some sort of mericale last word. who should it be?))

((Well,Smokey forbade us to have more than one cat in high-ranking position,so this puts me into a difficult delimina of choosing someone who is active and has a cat in ThunderClan and hasn't got a cat that has a high-ranking position..Unfortunately,I can't seem to think of someone like that...))

((I don't think so.There are just not enough active people around,even though there are considerably more than at first.I think Smokestar will have trouble getting a new deputy too...Perhaps we should just leave the spots as reserved until a promising new active newbie comes along?))
