Pantherclaw entered the apprentice's den searching for her apprentice. She scanned her eyes over all the cats until she spotted her.
She trotted over to Lilypaw and licked her cheek, then kicked her playfully to wake her. Her apprentice had slept in to late.
"wake up," she mewed.

Lilypaw let her eyes open a slit, letting in sunlight that burned her eyes. She quickly closed, then after lieing down for a couple seconds she threw her self up facing the opposite way of the sunlight to guard her eyes as she got used to the morning light.
She stretched; She first let her back arch way up high, then she stretch low to the ground, stretching so far her claws extended. She then turned around and faced the sunlight. It didn't seem as bright but it still burned her eyes.
She squinted until she got used to the light then she let her beautiful blue eyes take their almond shape.
