oh well, he was in love with someone who wasn't in love with him and lead him on. She acted like she was truly in love with him and one night they mated and she became pregnant, when Brokensol (then Brokenpaw) found out he was ecstatic; but she was not, she killed herself and it broke his heart and soul...hence his name

He as born into the clan and became an apprentice at six moons (see love life) he became a warrior soon after the death of his mate.
