Bored kit

Shiningkit lay outside of the nursery, watching the warriors pad in and out of the gorse tunnel that lead to the ThunderClan clearing. The sun spilled over her, making her pure white fur almost shine. Shiningkit stood slowly, as if she were already and elder, took a deep breath,and yowled so loudly that some of the older cats stared at her in alarm, "I'M BORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Starpaw padded up to the small kit. His toothy grin came through his muzzle. Gaze, as he was called, liked kits. He sniffed Shiningkit. "Bored, eh?" He looked at her again.
"What would you care to do today, Shiningkit?"

Shiningkit stared at Starpaw with wide eyes. She hadn't really expected any cat to do something about it. Shiningkit looked at the ground, her tail tip twitching in thought. "I think..." She darted forward and jabbed at Starpaw with a forepaw. "I think you're it!" And she ran away from the older apprentice.

Starpaw shook his head, smiling. He stood up and raced after her. He pretended slow and chased her a few tail lengths behind. He didn't care if he looked stupid. He liked acting like a kit again. It was so fun. He yowled out, "I'm going to get you!" With that, he tripped and tumbled forward, touching her on the behind. He gave a squeal of happiness.

But the touch pulled her down, and Shiningkit stumbled onto the floor. Instinct made her roll back onto her paws. She shook herself and glared at Starpaw. "Hey!" She jumped on the apprentices back, pinning him to the ground. "Ha, I win!" She meowed mockingly.

Starpaw gave Shiningkit a mock disgusted look. He pretended to look offended. He stood up quickly, sending Shiningkit flying off his back. He laughed and said, "What would you like to do now, bored kit?" He gave a smirk of the mouth. He loved caring for other cats.

Shiningkit yelped as she was sent flying through the air. It was an exhillerating feeling, watching the ground rush beneath her paws. Until she crashed right into the neat pile of freshkill, knocking it over. Shiningkit stood up wobbly, her eyes dazed. A mouse's tail rested between her eyes and she quickly shook the dead mouse off her head.
