<sub>From the roots of the huge oak tree and beautiful, lethe black shape emerged. After her conversation in the forest with Shadepelt, Taintedstar was shocked, and yet strangely happy. With a sighed, she bunched up, and sprang, to a low hangin branch of the tree.

Her multi-colored eyes flashed with exaustion...but there was one thing left for her to do. The elegant she-cat threw her head back to the shinning Silverpelt and prepaired to say the formal words. Instead, she paused and out of weariness just called. "Come to me! Cats of ShadowClan!"

Taintedstar waited for her clan to emerge, looking for one dark pelt in particular. She was shocked by the worry she felt for him, but forced herself to a different topic. Maple she thought, once again abanding the clan's formal name additions...living as a loner sure did have it's side effects.</sub>

Blackheart was enjoying a nice pump mouse when he heared it. The call of his clans leader, Taintedstar. The small black she-cat that had the different colored eyes seemed to radiate with a power that demanded his respect. And as the clans medicine cat, it was his duty to be present in the meeting. 'Strange' he thought as he made his way to the High Tree, 'Starclan haven't sent me any dreams. i wonder what the meeting will be about.' settling himself almost underneath the branch in wich Taintedstar made the announcements, he looked up and waited to see what his leader had to say.

"Hmmm, what's going on?" wondered Icekit. She looked around, and seeing that the queens were watching Taintedstar, she decided to see what was going on. Taintedstar seems to have something on her mind, thought Icekit, I wonder what it could be? A queen started to look in her direction, so she hurried into the group of cats waiting to hear what Taintedstar had to say. Being careful not to make herself noticeable, she crept close enough to hear what Taintedstar had to say.
